This crochet dishcloth works up a textured center and a ribbed border in simple, back and forth rows. The lovely textures are gorgeous to look at, and great for scrubbing- whether you use yours as a dishcloth, or a washcloth.
The Suzette Stitch used in this pattern makes a lovely, reversible texture that’s easy enough even a beginner can make it! Plus, I’ve got a video stitch tutorial to help, too!
Suzette Stitch Tutorial Video
Watch a stitch tutorial for the Suzette stitch if you’ve never tried the stitch before. You’ll also need to be familiar with working in the 3rd loop of Half Double Crochet for this pattern. (See my HDC 3rd Loop Tutorial Here.)
Materials
H/5.0mm Crochet Hook. In the video, you’ll see my Furls Streamline Metal. I love this hook so much, especially with cotton! Metal glides into cotton yarn so much easier than acrylic hooks. You can buy one here.
A yarn needle and Scissors.
You’ll have a decent amount of yarn left over after this pattern, but not enough to make 2 from one ball of the yarn I used.
