This easy and free crochet scrubby pattern is perfect for everything from washing dishes to wiping countertops and more! It even has a handy hanging loop so it dries quickly. You can make 4 (and a half!) from just one ball of Red Heart Scrubby yarn, and they work up in just a few minutes each.
When I’m at the craft store, I always fall in love with scrubby yarns SO fast! I love the fun colors and unique textures, and they look so fun to crochet with!
Plus, who doesn’t want to be just a little more eco friendly these days? I know that my disposable sponges end up in landfills and won’t biodegrade like cotton yarn will.
So of course, that means I have accumulated a TON of cute, brightly colored scrubby yarns, like Red Heart Scrubby. And that means, I got into a dish scrubby crocheting kick!
How Do You Use a Crochet Scrubby?
You can use crochet scrubbies just like you would a kitchen sponge or dishcloth! In our house, we use them for:
- Wiping off tables and countertops
- Cleaning dishes
- Scrubbing produce and veggies
- As Washcloths sometimes
