If you’re looking for a cute crochet Christmas gift to give this year, this coffee cozy is perfect. You can pair it with a bag of beans and a reusable coffee cup! Or you can use it as a stocking stuffer. Either way it makes for a great crocheted gift!
This free coffee cozy crochet pattern is simple yet festive way to add a handmade touch to your holiday gift giving. This crochet cozy with a Christmas tree applique is a perfect project. It was inspired by the warmth and cheer of the holiday season. It really brings the Christmas spirit to life with a minimalistic tree design that’s easy to customize. Whether you use traditional green and red yarn or opt for a more modern color palette like I chose, this cozy is a fun way to dress up your to-go coffee cups, hot OR iced your reusable coffee cups as well.
The coffee cozy itself uses your basic half-double crochet stitch in a continuous round. The Christmas tree uses single crochet stitches. To assemble to the cozy, there is a little bit of sewing, including sewing on the cute little wooden star button. Lucky for you this is low-sew project. Because the pattern uses simple stitches, this is a great beginner crochet pattern.
It’s a quick project you can finish in an afternoon, and it also makes a thoughtful handmade gift for friends, family, or teachers.
