It's really pretty, but even better, the sedge stitch is really simple to crochet. The Herringbone stitch is one of my favorite textures! I love how neatly it creates a subtle texture in a crochet blanket like this one. This bright and cheery stitch creates a lot of texture with very simple stitching- you'll only need to know single crochet and double crochet. Thanks for the lead on the Winter Woven Throw. It turned out well using Premier Puzzle yarn (5) and a size J hook. I had to modify the pattern starting with 101 fdc for a 35″ x 52″ blanket, excluding the fringe. It took 5 skeins and will be donated to Project Linus. Love your site content!
