19 Easy Crochet Market Bag Patterns

Trinity Crochet Bag

I love the bright and cheery colors of this gorgeous crochet tote almost as much as I love the stitch pattern! Nicki always creates beautiful, simple and easy to crochet patterns with very helpful photo and video tutorials, so I know you’ll love this pattern! I really recommend you buy some of the Cotton Cakes yarn, too! It’s SO nice to work with!

Pentagonal Mesh Market Tote

I couldn’t resist adding my latest crochet market bag to this list! Once you learn the stitch repeat, this bag is a breeze to crochet, and it works up very quickly with a K hook and under 200 yards of worsted weight cotton.

Rockskipper Bag

This cute tote combines some very simple stitches to create a unique and fun crochet look!

Milo Tote Bag

This pretty open lace market bag makes such a statement! It’ll work up quickly, too, because of the bulky yarn too. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new Lion Brand Rewind Tape Yarn!

Hobo Style Market Bag

This gorgeous tote brims with style! I love the two tone look and the shell stitching on the sides. Plus, its super generous size makes it a perfect carryall!

Our Canada Market Bag

This cute Canadian tote is just adorable! I’m not even Canadian, but I’ve always loved the maple leaf motif!

More than a Market Bag – Paid

This one is the only paid pattern I’m including, but LOOK how pretty it is! I love that the bottom of this tote is so beautiful, but the mesh is fine enough that your things won’t fall out.

One Skein Farmer’s Market Tote

My favorite search term for crochet patterns of ALL TIME may very well be “One Skein.” Creating a useful object from one continuous piece of string just satisfies my soul somehow. I’m sure this pretty, one skein market bag will satisfy your itch to create as well!

Falling Fans Market Bag

This pretty bag is both functional and beautiful! I love the solid stitching on the bottom to keep your goods securely in your tote, but the fan stitching is gorgeous, too!

Easy Breezy Market Bag

This easy, breezy market bag uses chain stitching to create an open weave look. I really like the symmetrical structured look of this bag!

Summer Fun Crochet Tote

This bright and festive summer tote will make a perfect companion to any of your summer adventures! Take it to the farmer’s market, the beach, a backyard BBQ… the possibilities are endless!

Berries and Sunshine Mini Market Tote

My daughter just asked me to crochet her a bag, and for some reason, I didn’t realize that she would need a miniature version! Oops. So now, I have a gorgeous but BRIGHT pink and hot purple beach tote to share with you all. Haha! This adorable mini tote will probably be on my hook this month for my daughter- as soon as I replace my stash of bright yarn, that is.

Two Tone Mesh Market Tote

While we’re talking about it, here’s that two toned tote I just mentioned! The pattern works up very quickly, and only takes just about 240 yards of worsted weight yarn. Lovely, isn’t it?

Rainbow Pocket Market Bag

This clever bag actually has a pocket to hold itself in while you’re not using it! Perfect for stashing in a purse for a day out on the town- you never know when you’ll want a tote bag!

Sturdiest Ever Crochet Tote

This simple mesh tote uses multiple strands of yarn to create a SUPER durable bag! I love how roomy it is, and I’m sure it will hold up well for all sorts of adventures!

Summer Stripe Tote Bag

This cheery, colorful tote (made with Caron Cakes!) makes a perfect summer bag! I love the lace detailing- it’s just enough to add some pretty interest, without being too holey. (I know, my tote bags are all mesh! But I only use them for beaching!) I love the leather handles, too! It’s always so nice to see customization options in a pattern!

Easy Market Bag

This uber simple mesh crochet market bag would be a great project to practice maintaining even tension. Perfect for beginners and experienced crocheters alike!

This bright and colorful tote makes eco friendly shopping fun! Who says saving the Earth has to be green?
