I have a confession to make- I am obsessed with boho festival style. There! I said it. Now, as a mom, I don’t get too much opportunity to indulge my love of hippie inspired clothes, but I still LOVE looking at these gorgeous patterns, and I’m sure next summer I’ll be wearing one as my swim suit.
While I was looking at these gorgeous patterns, I met Taylor Lynn, and I was SO excited when she agreed to do this interview for me. Taylor has such a great sense of style, and I know that you’ll enjoy looking through her patterns! (I sure do!)

Now, I’ll let her introduce herself!
Meet Taylor Lynn
Hi I’m Taylor and I am in my mid 20’s and started a blog about crochet and other hobbies I love. I have two precious golden retrievers named Zoey and Izzy. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a project without their fur being permanently embedded and stitched in throughout. I think it just adds more love and character to a finished piece.
I always had this desire to make beautiful things, except I had one problem. I wasn’t all that artistic. I can’t draw very well, I have horrible hand writing, and painting? forget about it. That is how I got into crochet and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Interview with Taylor Lynn
Katie: Tell us about how you learned to crochet!
Taylor: I was first taught how to crochet by my aunt when I was probably 10 or 11 years old, but as I got older crochet fizzled away. Then one day whilst scrolling through Pinterest I saw the cutest little washcloths for sale and I thought “Hey! I could make that!”. Then came the youtube videos and pattern research! To be honest, my first washcloths were more trapezoids than squares, it takes time to get it all down.
Katie: Do you have a favorite crochet project? What about a favorite yarn?
Taylor: My favorite project to date has to by my Drifter Boho Vest. I recently designed this pattern and I find myself making them over and over again. They are gorgeous and I love them!
Katie: I love that one, too! I am just obsessed with Boho Vests- they’re so cute and multifunctional!
What about your favorite yarn? Can you choose just one?
Taylor: Anything cotton! I love working with and wearing cotton so much! Paintbox DK cotton is always a gem to work with.
Katie: Oh, I’ve been wanting to try some of that yarn! It looks absolutely gorgeous, and I love how many colors they have! I love that cotton seems to attract less dog hair, too. Ha!
Now, do you like to watch tv or listen to music or audio books while you crochet?
Taylor: I actually listen to a crime podcast called Casefile when I am in my craft room crocheting. When I am in my room I usually watch supernatural and Psych! Love them both dearly!
Katie: Ooh, good ones! What about your ideal crochet scene? Can you tell us where you love to crochet best?
Taylor: I am on my boat with my girlfriend Katie with our guys just hanging out on the lake with our yarn while the boys play in the water. Hopefully this becomes a reality this summer!
Katie: That sounds lovely! Now I see how you can wear so many of these gorgeous tops! Wouldn’t all our lives be better if we could spend more of it on the water.
Thank you so much for doing this interview with me! I’m so excited to share these 10 boho crochet festival tops with everyone!
