Sometimes, I just want a laid back crochet pattern that I can completely relax into with my favorite cup of tea. This gorgeous Suzette Stitch headband makes the perfect easy crochet project. You can make it with just 50 yards of worsted weight yarn, and it makes your messy bun look more put together and feel even cozier.
The gorgeous but super simple textured crochet stitch used in this headband is the Suzette Stitch. If you’ve tried the spa washcloth pattern, you’ll know that the crochet Suzette stitch makes a great statement without adding too much complexity. Perfect!
The Lazy Suzette Headband is the second pattern in the April Flowers CAL that I’m cohosting with Kirsten Holloway Designs. You’ll love the Sugar Maple Headband Kirsten just released for part 1! You can keep up with the CAL in the Salty Pearl Crochet Circle Facebook group. Above, you can see a sneaky peek of some of the fun designs I’ll be sharing with you over the next few weeks!
This particular pattern is worked in rounds, so if you need to adjust, you can do that before starting your first row. I’ve included two typical sizes, an Adult size that fits my 23″ head (I have TONS of hair!) or a child size that fits my daughter’s 19″ head. Both have a decent amount of stretch to them, but if you need to adjust, you can easily do so by adding or subtracting chains in twos.
Let’s get started with the Lazy Suzette Headband!
