Lighting makes or breaks a photo. In fact, the word photography means “drawing with light” in Latin. Even so, properly lighting a craft photo takes lots of forethought and effort, especially for hobby photographers like me whose primary crafts are more tactile in nature.
Whether you choose to use natural light or a light box setup, I challenge you to take some time today to analyze the way your lighting impacts the mood and quality of your photograph.
Share your #craftographer photo with us on Instagram and take the time to look at how others use light in their photos as well. If you like, tag me @SaltyPearlCrochet to share with me directly- I love seeing what my fellow crafters are up to!
